Graduation in Science, Pharmacy & Medical Doctor preferable with MBA from reputed institution.
5 - 6 years experience as District Sales Manager in a national or multinational pharmaceutical company

Условия работы
Working Conditions:
This position requires extensive field work in the base town as well as outstation. Must spend about 85% time in the field morning and evening, work with medical representatives and some times alone to the KOLs.

Purpose of Position: This position is responsible to build and lead an effective sales team in order to maximize sales and market share growth, according to marketing strategies. This position is also responsible for implementation and execution of promotional strategies in the field and ensure that the allocated resources (both human and material) are utilized optimally in order to achieve set objectives.
Accountabilities / Deliverables:
Achieve or exceed allocated sales target and planned growth by controlling sales operations of the region.
Review doctors’ lists of the whole region at least twice a year, ensure the quality of the target doctors list, their coverage, frequency of visits and effective delivery of product message as per guidelines. Maintain record of target doctors’ lists of the whole region.
Develop regional business plan to optimize sales force performance, provide coaching and counseling to field force.
Analyze and control territory, sales and expense budgets. Receive the reports by the medical representatives (Daily Report, Monthly Report and Work Plan), analyze these reports and monitor their working and do dual visits.
Provide services to the customers, establish relationship with KOLs in the region, in order to build / enhance company’s image among medical community.
Coach, develop and motivate field force on regular basis to improve their performance, and prepare them for future responsibilities.
Analyze regional sales and competitor’s activities and prepare plan of action in order to increase prescription of CCL products. Keep on increasing prescription and prescriber’s base in the region.
Financial Responsibility/ Authority:
This position is responsible and accountable for return on investment (ROI) of all promotional activities done in the region. Also responsible to check travel plans of the medical representatives, approve their expenses as per company’s rules and control the overall expense within allocated expense budget.
